Hi, I’m Kirsten, a professional wedding photographer based in Ardmore, Alberta! Beyond photography, I’m also a proud wife and mother of two wonderful children. My passion for photography has been a lifelong journey, though my early career path initially led me to criminology. I earned my Police Studies Diploma from Grant MacEwan University in 2011, where I picked up my first camera to photograph crime scenes. It was the grading of the images that initially sparked my connection to photography. Shortly after, my life took a beautiful turn when I met my husband and started our family.

In 2012, while attending a destination wedding in Mexico, I was asked to capture the special day with my basic camera. That moment changed everything—I fell in love with photographing weddings and knew this was what I was meant to do. In 2015, I enrolled in a few classes for the Wedding Photography Diploma program at the Burwell School of Photography, and by 2016, I officially launched my photography business.

Since then, I’ve been dedicated to capturing the love, joy, and authentic moments that make each wedding day so special. Photography isn’t just a career for me—it’s my passion.

I’m continually refining my skills and pushing creative boundaries. I am a graduate of the 2 Mann University Three-Month Semester Program, a prestigious training experience in advanced photography techniques. In 2023, I was honored to receive my first Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) accreditation in Environmental Portraits, and most recently, I achieved my second PPOC accreditation in Wedding Photography.
